Review of Institutional Performance and Enhancement (RIPE)
The Review of Institutional Performance and Enhancement (RIPE) is an institution-level quality assurance process aligned with the Pakistan Precepts, Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (PSG-2023). It enables the University to evaluate how effectively its governance, academic provision, research, resources, student support, integrity, engagement and institutional systems contribute to the achievement of its Vision, Mission and strategic priorities.
The RIPE process is improvement-oriented and evidence-based. It normally includes institutional self-evaluation, preparation of the Institutional Performance Evaluation Report (IPER), compilation of supporting evidence, review by an assessment team, stakeholder engagement, identification of strengths and areas for improvement, and preparation of a time-bound implementation plan.
The Directorate of Quality Enhancement coordinates the RIPE process in collaboration with relevant academic and administrative units. Review findings and improvement actions are monitored to strengthen institutional effectiveness, accountability and a sustainable culture of quality.
