Program Team (PT)

A Program Team is constituted for an academic programme to support self-assessment and the Programme Review for Effectiveness and Enhancement (PREE). Its members should understand the programme’s curriculum, learning outcomes, assessment system, resources, student experience and quality assurance requirements.

Responsibilities of the Program Team

  • Collect and organize reliable programme data and supporting evidence.
  • Review programme objectives, learning outcomes, curriculum, teaching, assessment, faculty, resources and student support.
  • Analyze stakeholder feedback and relevant performance indicators.
  • Identify strengths, good practices, gaps and areas requiring improvement.
  • Prepare the Self-Assessment Report or PREE documentation in the prescribed format.
  • Develop a practical, time-bound improvement plan with responsibilities and evidence requirements.
  • Coordinate with the Head of Department, faculty, students, administrative offices and the Directorate of Quality Enhancement.
  • Facilitate the Assessment Team’s review and respond to observations.
  • Maintain the programme evidence repository and monitor follow-up actions.

The Program Team promotes collective ownership of programme quality and supports continuous, evidence-based improvement.
